Delete your GOTYOU account.

You can delete your account in the app, or send us a request if you can’t use the app. You don’t need the app installed to ask.

Option 1: In the app

  1. Open the GOTYOU app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Account tab.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  5. When asked to confirm, tap Yes, Delete My Account. (Tap Cancel to keep your account.)

Deleting your account can’t be undone. Any unredeemed rewards are deleted with your account, so redeem them first.

Option 2: Send us a request

If you can’t access the app, send a request from the email address linked to your GOTYOU account. We may contact you to confirm the request before we delete anything.

This opens your email app with a message to info@gotyou.co and the subject “Account deletion request”. Nothing is sent until you press send. If it doesn’t open, emailinfo@gotyou.co yourself with that subject and your account email address.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the personal information linked to it, such as your profile details, your activity in the app (like check-ins, referrals, reviews and surveys), location information used to verify activity, and your rewards balance.

We may keep some information where the law requires it, and data that has been anonymized so it no longer identifies you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Only want to stop marketing messages?

You can opt out of promotional emails or texts at any time using the unsubscribe instructions in the message, without deleting your account.
