Help Us Capture the Future of Local Commerce — One City at a Time

GOTYOU is launching in 60+ cities this summer — and we’re turning that tour into a movement.

We’re looking for an experienced videographer and editor to join our traveling content team as we document the revival of local commerce across the country. You’ll be embedded with our market activation teams, filming real people, real places, and real rewards — and turning those moments into high-impact content.

About GOTYOU

We’re a performance-based platform that helps small businesses reach local customers — without paying for wasted ads. This summer, we’re launching nationwide through the Shop Local Tour — an on-the-ground blitz that combines community events, brand activations, and content capture across every region.

We’ll be filming 12–15 hours a day, 7 days a week — and we need a videographer who can roll with the energy, move fast, and create magic.

What You’ll Do

Travel with GOTYOU teams across multiple states during the 60-city tour
Capture dynamic live footage of:
- Merchant and user interactions
- Local events, pop-ups, redemptions, and community moments
- Brand ambassadors in action
- Behind-the-scenes and travel content
Operate DSLR, mirrorless, or high-end mobile setups for both cinematic footage and social-first content
Edit short-form videos daily (or turn over clean footage to our content team)
Work closely with our social team to optimize for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and Threads
Assist with basic lighting/audio when needed on location
Maintain gear, organize files, and manage backup/storage workflows

You’re a Great Fit If You…

Have 2–5 years of videography/editing experience (preferably in lifestyle, brand, or documentary content)
Are fluent with camera gear, lenses, gimbals, mics, and mobile rigs
Are fast — and can shoot for edit as much as for cinema
Can work in the field: walking, moving, riding, capturing on the go
Know how to film authentic stories without over-producing them
Can edit quickly for vertical-first, short-form social (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Final Cut, etc.)
Are down to travel, work hard, and create every day with a fun, smart team
Believe in local — and want your work to have real-world impact
